On May 1, 2023, Omar Said Shaaban, Minister of Trade and Industrial Development of Zanzibar, met with Ms. Wang Xiangyun, Zanzibar's promotion ambassador and trade and investment ambassador.

Minister Shaban introduced the native product cloves to Ambassador Wang Xiangyun, and expressed the hope that the organic cloves of Zanzibar would be introduced to China market and consumers through the comprehensive service platform of East Africa Commercial and Logistics Industry Park.
