On March 11th, Zanzibar Investment Promotion Authority (ZIPA), Shanghai Linghang Group Co., Ltd. and Weihai Huatan Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. jointly signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the promotion of Investment, Trade and & Tourism opportunities of Zanzibar in China, officially authorizing Linghang Group and Huatan company as Zanzibar's representative offices in China to fully represent Zanzibar in promoting tourism, trade and investment opportunities in China, so as to promote economic and trade cooperation and cultural and tourism exchanges between the two sides. At the same time, Zanzibar President Hussein Ali Mwinyi personally awarded Ms. Wang Xiangyun as Zanzibar's propaganda ambassador and trade and investment ambassador.

 This authorization marks that the status of Linghang Group and  Huatan company as leaders, promoters and pioneers of in-depth economic and trade cooperation between China and Tanzania is more prominent.

 Shanghai Linghang Group Co., Ltd. is a diversified enterprise integrating import and export trade, bulk goods trade, overseas investment, park construction, cross-border e-commerce, overseas investment consultation and cooperation, food R&D and production, and international aid project procurement.

In 2019, Shanghai Linghang Group Co., Ltd. invested and established Weihai Huatan Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. in Weihai city to be responsible for trade with Africa affairs and the construction of comprehensive service cooperation zone of East Africa Commercial and Logistics Industrial Park project in Tanzania. The comprehensive service cooperation zone is composed of four physical projects, namely East Africa Commercial and Logistics Center, Huatan Overseas Warehouse, Overseas Exhibition Center and Zanzibar Airport Bonded Warehouse Logistics Park, and is supported by a cross-border e-commerce platform. It is a comprehensive service platform with commercial logistics and industrial cooperation functions built by Weihai Huatan Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. in Tanzania, which can provide various functions and services such as offline transactions, exhibitions, logistics warehousing, cross-border e-commerce, supply chain finance, processing and assembly, entrepot trade and one-stop service for cross-border business, etc. It is the forefront window for China enterprises to enter East African markets.
